At first glance The Diary Culture Book may seem long. However, the good news is that because we have this Culture Book, we will most likely never have the need for some 700 page “employee policies and procedures manual”. A Culture Book is definitely much better and more fun!
If we all commit to utilizing our Culture Book for the majority of situations that arise, then it will be our go-to manual for nearly every conceivable interpersonal action that we will face in the company. It will remain consistent, along with the shared mindset behind it, regardless of political, regional or cultural boundaries. In a tightly connected and often confusing cross-cultural world, such consistency when it matters is worth its weight in gold.
